Domaine du Luquier

 

The Mas du Luquier is located in the Crau plain between Saint-Martin-de-Crau and Salon de Provence at the heart of the Crau nature reserve.

The operation consists of 190 hectares of pastures of AOC Crau hay. The pastures are gravity irrigated from an irrigation canal.

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

 

We began the process that we will eventually allow us to produce ORGANIC Crau hay  a few years ago and in fact, we use no chemicals, –only organic soil amendment (compost and sheep manure). The pastures are grazed by 2500 sheep throughout the winter period.

 

 

 

 

 

Exploitation :

190 hectares of AOC Crau Hay namely 1900 tons produced par year.
